Chicken Cordon Bleu

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 thin slices of cooked ham
  • 4 slices of swiss cheese (1 1/4" X 1/2")
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Thyme or Rosemary
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup Corn Flake crumbs
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Place each chicken breast between plastic wrap, and pound to 1/8" thick.

On each flattened chicken breast, place two slices of thin ham, one slice of swiss cheese, and sprinkle lightly with desired seasonings.

Roll chicken breast up, folding in ends to keep cheese in. Fasten with toothpicks. Roll in butter, and then the cornflakes.

Place four chicken breasts in a 9 X 13 baking dish. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.

While cooking, combine sauce ingredients and heat through.

Remove cooked chicken Cordon Bleu and place on individual plates. Cover with sauce.
