Slow Cooker Italian Sausage and White Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (12 oz each) garlic and artichoke sausages or cooked kielbasa sausages
  • 3 cans (15 oz each) great northern beans
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) petite diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup frozen chopped onions, thawed
  • 1 cup red wine or Progresso beef flavored broth
  • 1/3 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • salt and ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cut sausages diagonally into ½-inch-thick slices. In 5-quart slow cooker, stir together all ingredients until combined. Cover; cook on High heat setting 4 to 6 hours. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
