Double Chocolate Snack Cake

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tbsp. canola oil
  • 1/2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar, if desired

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

In an ungreased 9x5" loaf pan, mix flour, brown sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt with a fork. Stir in remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips. Mix well. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top of the batter. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 30 minutes. Remove from pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
