Ingredients

  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 2-3 lbs. beef, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 c. carrots, chopped
  • 2 c. potatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • Water

Step 1

Cut beef into bite sized pieces. Roll beef inflour and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic. Pour oil in dutch oven. Brown meat and onion in oil. Add water, cover with lid and boil for apporximately one hour until beef is tender. Add carrots, potatoes and more water (so beef won't stick to pot). Cover pot and boil for 30 minutes, or until carrots and potatoes are tender.
