CURRANT BISCUITS

Ingredients

  • 6 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 sticks butter (melted)
  • 1 box currants
  • 2 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add butter and stir until mixture forms crumbs.

Add currants.

Add milk and mix well.

Roll out about 1 inch thick on WELL floured surface and cut with biscuit cutter.

Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
