Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cups shortening
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 small (3oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • (add 1-2 tsp vinegar to shortening before heating)

Step 1

Add egg and milk together, beat well. Add all dry ingredients and pour milk/egg mixture in middle. Do not over mix. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll to desired size and add desired filling. Fry approximately 1-3 minutes or until golden brown.
