Ingredients

  • In a baked pie shell.
  • 3 1/2 cup saskatoon berries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar + 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Cooking time 60mins

Preparation

Step 1

Bring berries in water to a boil. Add sugar/cornstarch mix. Stir constantly until thick and clear.

Remove from heat. Add butter, lemon juice and vanilla.

Cool completely and pour into pie shell.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
