Butter Baked Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tbs. minced onion
  • 3 large potatoes peeled
  • 2 tbs grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in small pot and saute onion until tender, about 3 min.

Halve potatoes lengthwise then slice crosswise into 1/8” thick slices.

Immediately line up in buttered 13x9 baking pan with slices overlapping. Pour butter mix over potatoes. Season with salt and pepper.

Bake at 500 for 20 min. Remove from oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bank additional 5-7 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly brown.
