Here's a lighter version using Splenda Blend brown sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 c brown sugar / Splenda Blend
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 TBs milk
  • 1/4 c oil
  • 1/2 c unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 ripe mashed bananas
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

Beat eggs. Add sugar, milk, oil, applesauce, salt, bananas, and vanilla; mix well. Add remaining ingredients and combine.
Split and place in 2 greased and floured pans.
Bake for 40 minutes or until done.
