Pizza Dough: Thin Crust

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • (Note: Julie uses 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour)
  • 5 tsp. quick-rise yeast (approx. 2 pkgs)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1 1/2- 1 2/3 cups warm water

Preparation

Step 1

Place flours, yeast and salt in a food processor fitted with dough blade. Pulse until blended.

Add honey. Process more, gradually adding water until ball forms.

Once ball forms, process 60 seconds more to knead.

Turn dough into ball. Cover and let rest 10 minutes. Divide dough into quarters. Use immediately or freeze.

Bake 450° for 15-20 minutes

(Note: If frozen, thaw in refrigerator overnight before use)
