- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 35 salted soda crackers
- 8 square semi-sweet chocolate (fine chop)
- 1 cup pecan or walnuts (finely chopped)

Step 1
Preheat 400 degree - Bake 5 - 7 minutes
Using a cookie sheet with 4 small sides, place foil paper and lay the crackers evenly making a rectangle.
In a saucepan, melt butter and sugar on medium heat about 5 minutes or until all is melted and well combined.
Let boil for 3 minutes. DO NOT STIR AT THIS POINT.
Remove from heat and immediately spread over crackers by tbsp. Spread thinkly to cover all crackers.
Bake for 5 - 7 or until the sugar turns a golden brown. Take out and sprinkle with chocolate. Wait a few minutes and spread the chocolate with a spatula. The heat from the sugar should be enough to melt the chocolate. Top with nuts.
Refrigerate until stiff and a few hours later break apart to store in airtight container.
