Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/4 cup red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream oil, sugar and add eggs.

Sift dry ingredients

Mix cocoa, vinegar and red food coloring. Add to sugar mixture.

Alternate flour and buttermilk.

Add vanilla.

Bake 350 for 25 minutes.
