Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup Crisco
- 1 teasp. Vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teasp. Salt
- 1 teasp. Butter flavoring
- 1 can angel flake coconut
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degreesCream Crisco and sugar and add flavoring. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well on high speed. Add flour and salt. Mix well and fold in coconut flakes. Bake in greased tube pan at 325 for 1 hour and 10 mins.
Glaze:
1 ½ cup sugar
¾ cup water
3 teasp. Coconut flavoring
Drizzle glazing on cooled cake and top with coconut flakes to garnish.
