Chocolate Waffles with Raspberry Cream

A sinfully delicious dessert or breakfast for a king and queen.

Ingredients

• WAFFLE DOUGH:
• 1 1/3 cup flour 1/4 tsp salt
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp cocoa powder
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp baking powder 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp vanilla
• RASPBERRY CREAM:
• 1 cup whipping cream
• 1/2 tsp almond extract or vanilla
• 1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients for waffle and let sit 5 minutes. Meanwhile preheat waffle maker. Use about 1 cup of dough and cook according to directions of your waffle maker.

In a separate bowl whip the cream to soft peaks and fold in jam and vanilla or almond extract.
