Rice Pudding

From Flo...she made it for my father's funeral.
Take a long time but is well worth the creamy delight!
Great dish to make in the winter.

Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 quarts whole milk
- See directions.
- add cinnamon to top
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons butter
- return to oven and brown

Step 1
Stir first three ingredients. Put in 4 quart glass container and cook at 375 for one hour.
Then reduce heat to 350 degrees. Stir every 20 minutes for another hour or two.
When starts to thicken, add topping for one more 20 minute cooking period.
