Tomatoe - Cheddar Strata with Broccoli

- 4 1/2 cup 1" bread cubes
- 6 oz. shredded Cheddar (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1 cup halved grape tomates
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 1/2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 8 eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 1/1 /4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 4 oz ricotta cheese (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 tsp herbs of provence

Step 1
1. Place bread cubes in a buttered 9 x 13 baking dish. Top bread with 1 cup cheddar, tomaotes, broccoli, and 1 tbsp parsley.
2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt & pepper. Pour egg mixture over bread and gently press to soak every cube. Add dollops of ricotta over top. Sprinkle with herbs and remaining cheddar. Cover and refrigerate for several hrs. or overnight.
3. Remove strata and bring to room temp. about an hour. Preheat oven to 350F. Bake until puffed and lightly golden about an hour. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes. Garnish with parsley. Serve warm or room temp.
