  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • Olive oil

Cooking time 120mins


Step 1

Chop up the onion and put into large pot, cook for five minutes with oil stirring occasionally.

Add ground beef and brown.

Add tomatoes, Worcestershire and all the spices, stir.

Bring to boil reduce to simmer cook for one and a half hours stirring occasionally.

Simmer for 10 more minutes.

Alternatively can cook in Instant Pot for 30 minutes on manual setting.
