Ingredients
- 600 g pkg frozen mixed berries
- 2 unpeeled apples, cored and coarsely grated
- 4 thick Italian bread slices
- 1/3 c b sugar
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/4 t ground ginger
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/2 c butttyer melted
Preparation
Step 1
Stir berries with apples in slow cooker and smmoth outr to a even layer.
Break bread into pieces and place in a food processor. Pulse until small crumbs.
*In large bowl stir bread crumbs with sugar, cinnamon, ginger, salt and butter until combined. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over berry mix in slow cooker.
Place tea towel between pot and lid to absorb moisture. Cook on high about 1 and 1/2 hrs. Serve warm with ice cream
