Ingredients

- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup coke classic
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

- icing
- 1 box(1 pound) confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/3 cup coke classic
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. set oven rack in center of oven and preheat oven to 350.
mix sugar and flour in a mixing bowl. in a saucepan, heat oil, cocoa, butter and coke, stirring to dissolve mixture; then bring to a boil. remove from heat and pour hot mixture over dry ingredients. beat well.
add remaining ingredients and beat well again. marshmallows will not dissolve and batter will be rather thin.
pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. don;t worry if cake bakes unevenly. frost while warm.

for icing;
place sugar in a bowl. in a saucepan, bring butter, cocoa and coke to a boil. pour butter over sugar and beat in vanilla and nuts. spread immediately on warm cake.
