CANDY BAR SHEET CAKE (Cake Mix)

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25-oimce) box milk chocolate cake mix, such as Betty Crocker
  • 1 (8-ounce) bag candy bars, such as Snickers Bites
  • 1/2 cup caramel bits, such as Kraft
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons umter
  • 1/2 cup semisuueet chocolate morsels
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • If you can't find Snickers Bites, cut regular-size bars into 1-inch pieces.

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat ouen to 350°. Spray a 13x9-inch bakiag dishunth nonstick baking spray u)ith flour. Set aside.
2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spread half of batter into prepared dish. Sprinkle candy bars ouer batter. Spread u/ith remaining batter.
3. Bake until a uuooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, approximately 25 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack 30 minutes.
4. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel and
11/2 teaspoons water. Microwave on high 30 seconds or until caramel begins to soften, stirring to combine. Microwave on high 15 seconds, stirring until smooth. Melt chocolate according to package directions. 5. Spoon melted caramel into a small resealable plastic bag. (Do not seal bag.) Snip a small hole in one corner of bag. Repeat procedure with melted chocolate. Drizzle caramel and chocolate ouer cake. Sprinkle with salt. Let stand until set, approximately 30 minutes.
