Ingredients

  • 24 Scallops
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • Juice from 1 Lemon
  • 4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) Butter
  • 8 slices Bacon
  • Sesame Seeds

Step 1

Place scallops in a single layer in a shallow dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and squeeze lemon juice over top. Melt butter and pour over all. Marinate for 25 minutes, stirring once.

Remove scallops from marinade. Cut each strip of bacon into 3 pieces and wrap each scallop in a piece of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Roll bacon-covered scallops in sesame seeds and place on rack in shallow roasting pan. Put under broiler for a few minutes, until bacon is cooked.
