Ingredients

  • Cake:

  • 2

    c flour

  • 2

    c sugar

  • 1

    stick butter

  • 1/2

    c oil

  • 1

    c water

  • 4

    Tbs cocoa

  • 1

    c buttermilk

  • 2

    eggs, beaten

  • 1

    tsp soda

  • 1

    tsp vanilla

  • Icing:

  • 4

    Tbs cocoa

  • 1

    stick butter

  • 6

    Tbs cream (I just use milk)

  • 1

    lb powdered sugar

Directions

Cake: Put flour and sugar in large bowl. In saucepan, combine butter, oil, cocoa and 1 c water. Bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture. Beat well. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into pan. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Icing: Combine cocoa, butter, and cream in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over powdered sugar and mix well. Pour over warm cake.
