Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soft margarine and butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp molasses
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp warm water
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
cream together in 4 quart bowl-margarine and butter, sugars, eggs, molasses, vanilla and warm water.
sift 2 cups flour with1 tsp each of baking soda and baking powder.
mix with spatula into creamed butter in two stages
blend in oats, chopped pecans, pine nuts, chopped almonds, and chips.
roll dough into small balls.
press with fork onto greased baking trays.
bake 8-10 minutes in 350 oven. cool 5 minutes.
makes 50 cookies
