Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 1 1/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1 tablespoon water
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
Step 1
melt chocolate, marshmallows and water. remove from heat. add remaining ingredients except oats and pecans. blend well. add oats and pecans. drop by teaspoons onto ungreased sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
