    c. Brown Sugar (packed)

  • 1/2

    c. Shortening

  • 1

    Egg

  • 2

    c. Flour

  • 1

    tsp. Baking Soda

  • 1/2

    tsp. Salt

  • 1

    c. Sour Cream

  • 1-1/2

    Rhubarb (chopped)

  • TOPPING:

  • 1/4

    c. Sugar

  • 1/4

    c. Brown Sugar (packed)

  • 1/2

    c. Pecans or Walnuts (chopped)

  • 1

    Tbsp. Butter or Margarine

  • 1

    tsp. ground Cinnamon

Directions

In a mixing bowl, cream sugar and shortening. Add egg. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; add alternately with the sour cream to the creamed mixture. Fold in rhubarb. Spread in a greased 9x13" baking pan. Combine all topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
