Oven Fried Chicken
- 2 1/2 to 3 pound ready-to-cook broiler-fryer, cut up into individual pieces)
- seasoned flour (flour, salt and pepper mixed together in plastic bag)
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine (1 stick)
Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Melt butter in oven, on baking sheet
Shake a few pieces at a time in flour mixture.
Take baking sheet out of oven and place coated chicken on baking sheet, skin side down.
Bake for 30 minutes. Take baking sheet our of oven, turn chicken, return to oven and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until brown and fork tender.
