Daphne Oz's Almond-Cashew Flax Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cashews
  • 1/2 cup Almonds
  • 3 tablespoon Flaxseed Oil

Preparation

Step 1

1 cup Cashews
1/2 cup Almonds

In a food processor fitted with an S-blade, grind the almond and cashews, scraping down the sides when necessary, until it begins to clump about 3-4 minutes.

3 tablespoon Flaxseed Oil

Begin to add the flax seed oil, a tablespoon at a time, until incorporated. Process until the nuts begin to break down and release their oils, about 4-5 minutes.

Continue to process for another 2-3 minutes or until desired consistency has been reached. Store in an airtight jar.
