Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1 c warm water
  • 1 1/2 c whole wheat flour
  • 2 t granulated sugar
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in water. Rest 5 minutes. Stir in whole wheat flour, sugar, salt, olive oil and 1 cup of plain flour. Knead in remaining flour.
Spray bowl with non-stick spray. Place dough in bowl and place in a warm place to rise. (at least 15 minutes). Spread on greased pizza pan.
