- 2 cups cattail white cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- water
- canola oil

Step 1
mix all dry ingredients together. add enough water to create a soupy mixture but not watery. whisk all lumps out. heat canola oil in a large skillet on the stove. put 1/4 cup cornmeal in hot canola oil and flip when the cornmeal starts to float and look browned on the bottom side.
