CANDICE’S ARTERY CLOGGING BROWNIES

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 1/3-Stick butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup liquor (Irish cream, amaretto0
  • 2 cups chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • Pinch of baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a heavy saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Meanwhile, in a large bowl beat eggs, sugar and vanilla until thick. Add chocolate mixture and liquor/ Fold in flour and baking powder. Add optional nuts. Spread evenly in pan and bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Dust with powdered sugar.
