BERRY COBBLER

I think you could cut the sugar down to 1 cup b/c it is almost grainy there is so much sugar. I’ve tried omitting the butter, and it just isn’t as good, but you could probably cut it down too!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fresh or Frozen Berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries or all 3)
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 3/4 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk or Water
  • 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 stick Butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F. Butter 8x8 baking pan. Mix first 6 ingredients in bowl. If using frozen berries, allow to thaw at this point. Pour into baking dish, dot with butter. Mix bisquick, 2 Tbsp sugar, milk or water. Pour over top of fruit. Top with 1 ½ tsp sugar. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
