Ingredients
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
melt chocolate in a heavy saucepan large enough to use as a mixing bowl(be careful not to let it burn) remove from burner; add butter and stir until melted.
beat in sugar and eggs
blend in flour, nuts and vanilla. spread in a well-buttered 8-inch square pan.
bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 35 minutes.
( brownies will still test slightly moist in center)
when cool, cut into squares.
