no bake dandelions

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup sunflower nuts
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 3 drops yellow food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

place milk powder,peanut butter and honey in a medium bowl. with a large spoon stir together until smooth. add oats and sunflower nuts stir until well mixed. let stand in bowl for 15 minutes.

meanwhile, if you would like yollow dandelions, place the coconut in a jar with a screw top lid. add the three drops of food coloring. screw on the top. shake until the coconut is evenly colored.

place the coconut in a pie plate. spoon peanut butter mixture by rounded teaspoons onto waxed paper. roll each mound around in your hands to form a ball. then roll, each ball in the coconut.

makes about 20 cookies
