Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins
Preparation
Step 1
Cream together butter and brown sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon; blend into creamed mixture. Stir in oats. Add raisins.
Drop onto greased baking sheets. With bottom of glass dipped in flour, flatten each cookie to thickness of a little more than 1/4 inch. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 to 9 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes and then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
