crispy cereal cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup margarine(or butter)
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 4 cups triples cereal
• 1 1/2 cups of candy-coated chocolate candies

Preparation

Step 1

heat oven to 350

mix margarine and sugars in a large bowl. stir in eggs, vanilla and peanut butter until well blended.

mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, add to margarine mixture.

stir in cereal and candies.

drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.

bake 8-10 minutes.

makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies
