- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1-teaspoon sugar
- 1-teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 -1-teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1-teaspoon chili powder
- 1-teaspoon nutmeg
- 1-teaspoon dry mustard
- 1-teaspoon paprika
- 1-teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1-teaspoon salt
- 1-teaspoon ground pepper

Step 1
1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat; add the onions sauté onion until soft but not brown.
2. Add in ground beef and spices; mix well; add enough water just to cover mixture.
3. Simmer mixture over low heat, simmering occasionally until meat is cooked and sauce is thickened, about 30 minutes.
