Ingredients

  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 pound lard
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar in 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix dry ingredients
2. Cut in lard to size of small peas
3. Mix in rest of ingredients
Makes 5 crusts
Freezes well
