Ingredients
- 2 cups cold roast pork, diced
- 1-1/2 cups diced, cooked vegetables (potatoes, carrots, onions, etc.)
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 10-ounce can cream soup (e.e. mushroom)
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- biscuit topping (recipe follows)
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 Tablespoons cold butter
- milk
Preparation
Step 1
Dilute the soup with the milk and thicken with flour. Combine the meat, vegetables, and sauce and pour into a greased baking dish. Heat through in a 375 degree oven while making the biscuit topping.
Topping:
Sift the dry ingredients and cut in the butter. Add enough milk to make a soft dough. Roll out to the size of the baking dish. Place on top of meat mixture and brush with butter. Cut a slit in top to let steam escape. Return to oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
