Ingredients
- 2 c. milk
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 5 drops vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Combine milk & sugar in sauce pan over low heat
Dissolve corn starch in 1 tbsp water and add gradually to milk
Bring to almost boiling
Add vanilla
Continue cooking until just at the boiling point.
Cool.
Make extra because it usually gets eaten before it even gets to the shortcake.
