FRESH FRUIT COFFEE CAKE

Ingredients

  • Cake Batter:
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/8 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Crumbs:
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together cake batter and spread on bottom of greased 8" x 8" cake pan. Mix crumb ingredients together. Place 1/3 of mixture over batter, then fresh fruit (peaches), then rest of crumbs. Bake at 350F for 30-40 minutes.
