Kale Sesame Seaweed and Ginger 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C dried Sweet Kombu (seaweed)
  • 2 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 bunch Italian Kale, stemmed
  • 1 Tbsp ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp Bragg's liquid aminos
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Rinse kombu and let soak for 5-7 minutes. Drain, place in bowl and add 1 tsp sesame oil. Cut into 1/2" wide pieces

Rinse kale, massage gently. Chop into 1/2" wide pieces.

In large skillet heat 2 tsp sesame oil over medium. Add garlic, saute 1 minute. Add kombu and ginger and cook for another minute stirring gently. Remove mixture from skillet. Add remaining oil and heat. Add the chopped kale and the Bragg's. Stir to coat. Cover, lower heat, and cook 5-8 minutes or until wilted. Uncover and cook off remaining moisture on low, stirring as needed. Add to kombu/ginger mixture. Season with a drizzle of oil and garnish with sesame seeds.
