Ingredients
- 1 pound beef - cubed
- 1 large onion diced
- 1/2 cup carrot diced
- 1/2 cup turnip diced
- 1/2 celery diced
- 1/2 cup red/green pepper
- 1.2 cup mushrooms [optional]
- 3 - 4 potatoes cut up
- 1 can spiced tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- dash tobasco
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- [1/4 teaspoon rosemary if you use lamb]
- 1 tablespoon worchestershire
- 2 cups water

Preparation
Step 1
Cook beef on skillet with a little oil for a few minutes.
Place in large pot or slow cooker.
Add all ingredients and slow cook for 3 -4 hours.
You may need more water, depending on how thick or thin you like your stew.
