Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork sausage
- 1-1/2 cups boiling water
- 1-1/4 cups yellow cornmeal
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1-1/2 cups milk

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook sausage in large skillet, chopping constantly to prevent lumping, until just gray. Drain off excess fat.
2. Blend water with cornmeal, salt, baking powder. Add eggs, then milk. Blend in sausage.
3. Bake in greased 2 qt. casserole at 375 degrees, 40-45 minutes. Do not cover.
4. If desired, decorate top with cooked link sausage the last few minutes of cooking.
