BEEF STROGANOFF - NO FUSS
A really delicious gourmet casserole made from hamburger.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter/margarine
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 10 oz. sliced mushrooms drained
- 10 oz. condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in frying pan. Add onions and saute slowly until limp. Add beef stirring to break up lumps. Brown. Drain off fat. Discard.
Sprinkle flour, salt and pepper over meat mixture. Stir. Add mushrooms. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
Add soup. Stir. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and cheese. Heat through. Can be served immediately or poured into a casserole, covered and held in warm oven.
