AUNT IRIS' FUDGE

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 can (12oz) evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 16 large marshmallows, cut up
  • 2 bars (4oz each) German sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 c milk chocolate chips
  • 1 c chopped walnuts
  • 3 t vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

In a heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, evaporated milk and butter. Bring to a boil; boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Add the remaining ingredients; stir until marshmallows and chocolate are melted. Pour into a buttered 13-in x 9-in pan. Cool; cut into squares.
