Broiled Herbed Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 3 large tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1/4 cup minced basil, parsley, marjoram or other fresh
  • herbs
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan or asiago
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 3 tbs olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Put tomatoes in baking dish, cut side up. Combine herbs, bread crumbs, cheese, Garlic, S&P and oil in small bowl. Sprinkle each tomato with herb mixture and bake about 30 minutes.
