Jiffy Made Yule Logs - flames burn many colors

Ingredients

• 2 pounds coarse salt
• 2 pounds bluestone
• 2 ounces of all or some of the salts below
• strontium nitrate, bismirth nitrate, antimony chloride, barium nitrate, borax, potassium chlorite

Preparation

Step 1

Mix in a cardboard box with a wooden stick. Put a small amount into paper cups or muffin papers. Cover with a thin layer of melted wax.

When placed in a fire place, the flames burn many different colours.
