Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1 qt. elderberries or 4 cups
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour or 5 tbsp. tapioca
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- Pie crust:
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tbsp. milk
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup Crisco
- This makes 1-9 inch pie shell( mix 3-4 times for cobbler)
Preparation
Step 1
Cook down elderberries, add sugar, tapioca, & cinnamon. Cook down.
Mix and place pie crust. Pour in elderberries top with 1 1/2 tbsp. oleo.
Bake at 400 degrees until light brown.
