A simple and hearty Lenten option! Meatless too!
- 2 large onions
- 1 large head of cabbage. shredded
- 1 stick butter
- Garlic salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 pound cooked Pennsylvania Dutch noodles (or bow tie pasta)
Melt the butter over medium heat, then add onion and cook until transparent. Add shredded cabbage and cook slowly until cooked and tender. Add garlic salt and pepper to taste. Stir in cooked noodles and mix all together.
Add additional butter if desired.
