Baked Ginger Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 6 oz apples
  • 1 orange
  • 3 Tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 4 2 1/2" ginger thins crumbled

Preparation

Step 1

1. core apples - don't cut thru bottom
peal top 3rd of apples and place in 9" pie plate.

2. grate 2 tsp zest orange - squeeze 1/2 c juice

3. combine above, fill apples, pour juice on top and rest in pie plate. Cover with waxed paper.
Microwave on medium until tender 10 to 12 min
